Benefits

• The sap is irritant to skin and mucous membranes.
• It may suffer from aphids and mealybugs although very rarely.
• Let soil dry slightly between watering.
• Feed weekly during growing season.
• To encourage bushy appearance, pinch out growth tips.
• Clean the leaves with damp cloth.

Repotting and propogation
• Pothos rarely requires repotting and can thrive in a smaller pot, which also helps prevent the plant from growing too large. Generally, a new pot should be no more than 2 inches larger than the old pot or the root ball. A pot depth of 10 inches supplies enough room for the plant to grow.
• For propagation, Trim a 4-6 inch piece just below a root node. Ideally, the cutting will have 4+ leaves and at least two growth nodes. Pothos plant propagation can be done in water or soil, but once it begins, the plant has difficult switching to the other growing medium. If you place the cutting in water, the plant should remain in water once it grows larger. The same goes for a cutting propagated in the soil.
Where to plant it?
It is widely used in commercial applications as an underplanting for much larger plants and is often seen cascading over balconies and atrium walls.
